Water Damage – Jacksonville Condominium

Water damage struck this Jacksonville condominium when a kitchen water line burst. There was a lot of water dumped onto the carpeting in the adjoining room which was carpeted. SERVPRO of Jacksonville South was contacted by the property owner to provide water clean up services. We dispatched a crew immediately, and when they arrived, they suctioned up the standing water after moving some of the furniture to gain access. After extracting the water, we set up commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to speed up the drying process and clear the moisture from the air. Once our moisture monitoring equipment signaled that all was dry, we put the furniture back in place and provided drying reports the property owner and their insurance adjuster.
